Deliv a leading same-day delivery company, today announced that PetSmart, the largest specialty pet retailer of services and solutions for the lifetime needs of pets, has selected Deliv to power PetSmart.com’s same-day and scheduled delivery service in 17 top markets in which Deliv operates, leveraging PetSmart’s extensive bricks and mortar network.
Pet parents can select time-tailored same-day and scheduled delivery service in major metro areas across the country, saving PetSmart customers a last-minute trip to the store and freeing them from the hassle of carrying, loading and unloading supplies for their pets. The new PetSmart.com delivery service is available now in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, San Jose, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle and Chicago. By mid Nov., the new delivery service will be available in eight additional metro areas for a total of nearly 2,500 zip codes serviced.

By mid November, PetSmart customers located in 17 of Deliv’s markets can shop on PetSmart.com and select scheduled delivery on the product page for anything from 50 pound bags of dog food to bulky containers of cat litter or a fun pet fashion accessory like a hoodie, collar or leash, as well as seasonal holiday items.* PetSmart.com customers can schedule specific delivery windows and know exactly when their orders will arrive thanks to Deliv’s real-time GPS tracking feature. Delivery can be set within a few hours of purchase and up to two days later.
Deliv is immediately notified by PetSmart upon a scheduled online order being placed and then a Deliv driver picks up the items from the nearest PetSmart location turning hundreds of PetSmart stores into localized fulfillment resources from which it can offer a completely seamless, highly efficient delivery experience.
